Your family-owned Russell’s knows this. So, for the last seven decades, we have helped thousands of customers prepare for their day or their evening in the right pair of boots.
Started in Tampa in the 1960’s right on Dale Mabry Highway, the original owner of Russell’s Western Wear passed Russell’s on to his friend, Henry Meister, in 1992. As Henry owned and managed the store, he brought up his grandson, Scott, in and around the business. Even before Scott turned thirteen he was helping his grandfather hand-write sales tickets, sweep floors, and do everything in between because that’s what he loved to do.
When Henry passed in 2006, Scott took over his grandfather’s work and has continued to honor and grow his family legacy ever since.
Scott and his family have expanded Russell’s to nine stores throughout the state of Florida, including Lakeland, Dover, Bradenton, Lutz, Ocala, Lake City, Plant City, and the original Tampa store. Russell’s now proudly serves boot-lovers all over the contiguous United States through its online store Russells.com.
