Key Holder Position


 The Supervisor/Key Holder actively and enthusiastically supports and reinforces the Store Manager in ensuring the store meets its goals and standards in the area of sales productivity, customer service, visual merchandising, and in maintaining the overall appearance of the store including but not limited to:

  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Operational Responsibilities of Opening/Closing Store
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Housekeeping/Maintenance
  • Miscellaneous Duties

Key Holder:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service
    1. Motivates and acts as a role model for staff in meeting Company standards for superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations. Displays and fosters excellent product knowledge
    2. Achieves excellent ratings on customer satisfaction reports (secret shops)
    3. Enthusiastically promotes merchandise to customers
    4. Sets the example for greeting every customer upon entering and thanking them upon leaving
    5. Keeps informed of store merchandise and current promotions in order to enhance sales
    6. Ensures that store achieves customer based key performance indicator goals
    7. Rings sales and bags merchandise
  • Operational Responsibilities
    1. Approves and verifies cash register procedures including voids, refunds, exchanges
    2. Adheres to all policies, procedures
    3. Performs store opening and closing functions
  • Visual Merchandising
    1. Ensures that product is set in a manner that is effective for maximizing selling potential
  • Housekeeping/Maintenance
    1. Performs various housekeeping duties
    2. Constantly maintains overall store appearance
  • Miscellaneous Duties
    1. Informs Store Manager of over/under stock situations, slow sellers, and customer feedback
    2. Supports the store management objectives and displays a positive attitude with regard to the company
    3. Participates in store meetings
    4. Performs other related duties as required
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential)
    1. Lift merchandise onto and from shelving which may require use of ladder or stepstool
    2. Place product on display which may require use of ladder, stepstool or reach pole
    3. Unload delivery trucks as needed
    4. Move fixtures and merchandise in order to set up/change floor layout

Must be available to work weekends, mornings and evening shifts, previous customer service experience required.
